- Project Manager (Public Affairs Campaigns)
Description
Bantam Communications is seeking a dynamic and relationship-driven Project Manager to oversee and coordinate the execution of our public affairs campaign projects for utility-scale renewable energy developer clients. In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary day-to-day contact and operational project partner for our clients, ensuring their campaign goals are understood, prioritized, and executed with excellence. You'll coordinate cross-functional internal teams to deliver impactful community engagement campaigns that support renewable energy projects and advance deployment success—while cultivating trusted, long-term client relationships that are central to our mission.
Responsibilities:
- Manage day-to-day relationships with our utility-scale renewable energy developer clients and ensure clear project communication
- Oversee public affairs and communications campaign project workflows and operational execution across Research, Strategy, Digital, and Community Affairs departments
- Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of all client deliverables that advance project and policy objectives
- Provide operational coordination and counsel across message development, research, paid media, earned media, digital content, and stakeholder and community engagement campaigns
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional teams to execute best-in-class community organizing campaigns that mobilize stakeholder support, turning strategy into actionable deliverables
- Conduct quality assurance for all project outputs
- Present regular status reports and updates to clients and internal stakeholders
- Manage project budgets and timelines effectively
Compensation
- This is a full-time, exempt position.
- The annual salary hiring range for this position is $70,000 to $95,000.
- Compensation offered will be determined by factors such as (but not limited to) location, level, education, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

Requirements
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in project management, preferably for public affairs campaigns, advocacy initiatives, issues-based campaigns, clean energy communications, or working with renewable energy developers and/or mission-driven organizations
- Proven track record of managing multiple complex public affairs campaigns simultaneously
- Experience managing multiple client relationships simultaneously in a B2B or professional services agency environment
- Strong leadership and team collaboration skills
- Strong meeting facilitation skills, including ability to schedule, lead, and follow up on client and internal meetings, with strong follow-through on action items and deliverables
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage a wide range of stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Monday.com)
- Strong alignment with Bantam's mission to accelerate renewable energy deployment; renewable energy background helpful but not required
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience ideally in a relevant field; PMP certification a plus
