Job Summary

The Jack D. Gordon Institute for Public Policy is currently seeking a Student Assistant to join their team , duties include:

  • Supports projects appropriate to the department functions.
  • Identifies new research reports to share with Leadership and clients.
  • Supports research capacity for Leadership.
  • Assists with planning, developing, and implementing department projects.
  • Assists with presentations and workshops at the instructions of the Program Manager.
  • Assists with monthly reports for the department projects.
  • Works with relevant specialized software programs.

Minimum Qualifications

Preferred qualifications:

  • At least 2 semesters of related research experience.
  • Ability to work in a team setting.
  • Intermediate level of Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Knowledge of PC operations and specialized software.
  • Ability to take direction and work independently as needed.

  • During the Summer semesters, Students need only remain enrolled and are not required to take credit hours, but cannot have graduated.
  • Upon graduating, student employment must end.
