Description
PAC Director
Activate America is seeking a PAC Director with a strong dedication to our mission, which is to retain and expand the Democratic majorities in the U.S. House of Representatives and Senate. The PAC Director will lead fundraising for the organization, and help guide organizational development and strategic growth.
Who we are
Activate America is a field-oriented Super PAC that harnesses grassroots power to elect Democrats to the U.S. House and Senate. We connect individual volunteers and organizations with opportunities for direct voter contact through postcards, phonebanking, texting, and canvassing. In 2018, we were known as Flip the 14, and helped flip 7 of California’s 14 Republican-held Congressional seats. In 2020, as Flip the West, our volunteers made over 13 million voter contacts, helping flip 4 Senate seats and gain a slim Democratic majority. In 2022, as Activate America, we helped Democrats expand their Senate majority by electing Democratic Senators in AZ, NV, PA and GA, and also helped minimize the Republican House majority.
We work with more than 200 organized volunteer groups (our A-Team) such as chapters of Indivisible, and also more than 20,000 individual volunteers around the country.
Our fundraising is mainly from our volunteers and individual donors, although we have held on-line and in-person fundraising events with Congressmembers Adam Schiff, Katy Porter, Eric Swalwell, and Ted Lieu; Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass, California Lt. Gov Eleni Kounalakis, David Crosby, Frances McDormand and Joel Coen, and others.
