ASBA is seeking a Public Policy Support Intern to assist with policy research, legislative tracking, advocacy support, and related administrative projects. This internship is a great opportunity for someone interested in public policy, government affairs, nonprofit advocacy, and small business issues in Arizona.
Primary Tasks and Responsibilities
Assist with tracking legislation, policy updates, and regulatory issues relevant to Arizona small businesses
Conduct research on public policy topics, proposed legislation, and government actions
Help organize policy notes, bill summaries, and internal tracking documents
Support the preparation of advocacy materials, policy updates, and informational content for members
Assist with compiling information related to legislative meetings, hearings, or policy events
Help maintain organized records of advocacy efforts, public policy priorities, and related communications
Provide administrative support for public policy and advocacy initiatives as assigned
Assist with special projects related to government affairs, policy research, and small business advocacy
Support event preparation or logistics for policy-related meetings, programs, or advocacy events as needed
Complete other public policy and administrative support tasks as assigned
